Founded by Sicilian Vincent Castellano, who trained as a butcher, charcuterier and traiteur in the French Alps, Castellanos were pioneers in British-based Charcuterie with Vincent starting making in the early ‘80’s . Dalehead Foods, a division of Tulip Ltd, one of the largest meat processors in the UK, has since bought the business. They use free-range Hampshire-sired pigs for their products that include Black Pepper Salami and Chorizo.
