How to Enter and Eligibility
There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this prize draw.
The prize draw is open to residents of the United Kingdom and Ireland aged 18 years or over except employees of British Charcuterie Live and their close relatives and anyone otherwise connected with the organisation or prize draw.
In entering, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and eligible to claim any prize you may win. British Charcuterie Live may require you to provide proof of identity and that you are eligible to enter the prize draw.
British Charcuterie Live‘s decision as to those able to take part and the selection of winners is final. No correspondence relating to the prize draw will be entered into.
Closing date for entry will be 31st December 2019. After this date no further entries to the prize draw will be permitted.
No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason e.g. British Charcuterie Live will not accept responsibility for entries that are lost, mislaid, damaged or delayed in transit, regardless of cause, including, for example, as a result of any postal failure, equipment failure, technical malfunction, systems, satellite, network, server, computer hardware or software failure of any kind.
British Charcuterie Live reserves the right to refuse entry or refuse to award the prize to anyone in breach of these terms and conditions.
The prize is: A signed copy of Diana Henry’s cookbook - From the Oven to the Table.
The prize is non-exchangeable, non-transferable, and is not redeemable for cash or other prizes.
One winner will be chosen from a random draw of all complete entries received in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
The winner will be notified by email (using details provided at entry) within 14 days of the closing date and must provide a postal address to claim their prize. Due to the nature of the prize, the winner must be available for delivery by courier/post or organise collection.
If the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within 7 days of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner (and that winner will have to respond to notification of their win within 7 days or else they will also forfeit their prize). If a winner rejects their prize or the entry is invalid or in breach of these Terms and Conditions, the winner's prize will be forfeited and British Charcuterie Live shall be entitled to select another winner.
The winner’s name can be obtained by looking at our website or by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org within 60 days after the date of the closing date of the prize draw.
Data protection and publicity
By submitting your personal information you agree to receive Newsletters containing information and developments that we think may interest you. You will be given the opportunity to unsubscribe on every Newsletter that we send.
The winner may be required to participate in post-event publicity relating to the Prize Draw. The winner consents to the use by British Charcuterie Live, after the closing date of the Prize Draw for an unlimited time, the winner's image, photograph and name for publicity purposes (in any medium, including still photographs and films, and on the internet, including any websites hosted by British Charcuterie Live) and in advertising, marketing or promotional material without additional compensation or prior notice and, in entering the Prize Draw, all entrants consent to the same.
Limitation of liability
Insofar as is permitted by law, British Charcuterie Live, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by the negligence of British Charcuterie Live, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.
British Charcuterie Live shall not be liable for any failure to comply with its obligations where the failure is caused by something outside its reasonable control. Such circumstances shall include, but not be limited to, weather conditions, fire, flood, hurricane, strike, industrial dispute, war, hostilities, political unrest, riots, civil commotion, inevitable accidents, supervening legislation or any other circumstances amounting to force majeure.

British Charcuterie Live shall have the right, at its sole discretion and at any time, to change or modify these terms and conditions, such change shall be effective immediately upon posting to this webpage.
British Charcuterie Live also reserves the right to cancel the prize draw if circumstances arise outside of its control.
The prize draw and these terms and conditions will be governed by English law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.
