Award-winning food writer, broadcaster, journalist, consultant and event organiser, Henrietta Green has worked in the world of food for several decades.
From the publication of her trail-blazing FoodLovers Guide to Britain, to campaigning for Farmers Markets in Britain, her FoodLovers Fairs, the launch of the first consumer market at Borough, her work as a consultant for, amongst others, Waitrose and her writing for national newspapers and magazines and appearances on TV and radio, she has consistently championed British Speciality Producers and is acknowledged as an expert in this field.
In September 2017, Henrietta launched British Charcuterie Live - The Home for British Charcuterie.
The British Charcuterie Awards - the first, national, annual, independent Charcuterie Awards - were created to promote quality, variety and understanding of British Charcuterie.
B2B and Consumer Tastings throughout the year will further the cause.
British Charcuterie Producer Day - 1st August 2019 - will host a producer’s workshop that provides a unique opportunity for makers, suppliers, buyers, distributors and press to get together and a forum to discuss and exchange views in this exciting, growing sector.
